PROJECT SUMMARY

The West Angelas Deposits C&D Bulk Earthworks & Civil Works is currently being delivered by NRW Contracting (formerly BGC Contracting).

NRW Contracting has been awarded a contract for earthworks and civil construction works at the Rio Tinto operated West Angelas Mine, 110 kilometres north west of Newman, in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

This includes all earthworks and civil works including ROM wall and 7,000 cubic metre concrete works necessary to construct the heavy and light vehicle road networks that will connect the existing Deposit A project with the new Deposits C&D project.

In addition, NRW Contracting will construct the concrete foundations for primary crushers, conveyors and pedestals, as well as construct a HDPE water pipeline, install 17.5 kilometres of PVC conduit and deliver minor modifications to the existing Hub A processing plant.

This West Angelas contract award demonstrates the technical expertise for which the company is recognised, and the strong reputation the company has within the resources sector, to deliver such projects.
