INDIGENOUS ENGAGEMENT

NRW acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (Indigenous) as the traditional land owners, primary guardians and keepers of Indigenous cultural heritage.

We are committed to working with our clients to create meaningful employment and business opportunities for Indigenous people. Since our inception, NRW has continuously engaged with Indigenous communities in a range of initiatives, including:

  • Over $100M in Indigenous business revenue
  • Over 1,000 employment opportunities
  • Over $2B shared between Indigenous partnerships, including Join Venture partnerships.

Current and past joint venture partners include:

  • the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi People (represented through the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation Limited – NYFL);
  • the Eastern Guruma People (represented by Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd);
  • the Njamal and ICRG Joint Venture; and
  • the Guma and ICRG Joint Venture.

Benefits this engagement has created includes:
