SYNCLINE 2 HAUL ROAD OVERPASS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The scope of work comprises the earthworks, roadworks, drainage and construction of the Hall Road Overpass including: 

• Construction of the OSOM bypass road
• Construction of foundations and footings for the overpass structure
• Supply, delivery to site, unloading and installation and backfill of the precast arch structure (101m length of 15m span, 7m rise)
• Construction of 440m of HME haul road embankment and pavement
• HME haul road pavement treatment with dust suppressants
• Supply and construction of surface water drainage including, CSP culverts, open drains and sediment ponds, rock lined batter chutes, rock armor and erosion protection
• Re-profiling of the NAR pavement, including bitumen and asphalt seals
• Supply and installation of line marking, road signage, guideposts, OSOM bypass gates and associated road furniture
• Development and rehabilitation of borrow and stockpile areas.
