PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 2011, NRW commenced construction of various infrastructure projects associated with the pit development of the Norwich Park Mine.
These projects included:
- Back Access Road from Lotus to Campbell Pit
- Ramp 8 Explosives magazine
- Back Access Spur Road
- Establishment of the 10km Campbell Pit Power Line Corridor and six kilometres of corridors for stub lines
- Construction and commissioning of the Lotus Dam remotely activated rapid release Siphon System
- Dragline Access Ramps
The projects were delivered successfully, HSE incident-free, meeting the required performance indicators for the project.
