PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In February 2021, BGL released a maiden feasibility study outlining the
Project which is currently being developed.
The Project will produce ~200koz per annum for the first 5 years of
production and has a current total LOM production of 1.85 Moz, including
1.34Moz of Reserves.
BGL has a significant focus on environmental, social and governance
criteria. The Project is forecast to have the lowest greenhouse emissions
in the Australian mining sector per ounce of production and will return
over $2.3 billion to the Western Australian economy over the current
LOM.
BGL is fully funded into production which includes a $200 million
underwritten and credit-approved project loan from leading resource
specialist Macquarie Bank Limited to fund construction and development
activities.
The Site is located 430km north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and
50km north of the regional town of Leinster by the sealed Goldfields
Highway. Regular camp supplies and consumables are sourced through
these two regional centres.
