PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Nova Boxcut Project which was owned by Sirius Resources is located in the Fraser Range within the Goldfields- Esperance region.
Development of the initial boxcut required for the underground portal establishment was contracted to NRW, along with a flood protection wall, ROM and associated access roads.
A fleet of four 777 dump trucks in conjunction with a 1900 excavator completed the scope of works in May 2014. The team excavated a total of 308,844 BCM from the boxcut.
At its peak 39 personnel were located on the project.
