PROJECT DESCRIPTION
At the Cloudbreak Iron Ore Mine, NRW provided miscellaneous materials movement and equipment hire.
Equipment included:
- 120t, 190t and 250t excavators;
- 90t and 150t trucks; and
- 992 loaders.
Work included overburden removal and rehandling to stockpiles in order to ensure increased efficiencies of Fortescue’s large excavation fleet.
Civil works including the construction and maintenance of haul roads were also NRW’s responsibility.
