GUDAI-DARRI SOLAR FARM (DESIGN & CONSTRUCT)

NRW was awarded the Gudai-Darri Solar Farm design and construct contract by Rio Tinto, extending civil’s current Gudai-Darri (Kooodaideri) Mine Plant Bulk Earthworks project.

The project is located at the Gudai-Darri mine, 240 kilometres north of Newman in Western Australia,

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of a 34MW solar farm
• Site works July 2021 to February 2022
• Detail earthworks
• 34MVA solar generating
• Tie in to the local 33KV grid
• Tie in to external communication and monitoring systems.

At the projects peak, there will be approximately 120 site-based personnel working on the contract.
