NRW was awarded the mining services contract in January 2018 and successfully renegotiated in September 2020 through to life of mine expected late 2024.
The project is 63 kilometres north east of Mount Magnet in the mid-west of Western Australia.
Dalgaranga has a 2.4 million tonne per annum mill and produces 72,000-80,000 ounces of gold per annum.
Contract
The scope of work includes:
- Mobilisation and establishment of all facilities necessary to support the mining operations
- Associated minor earthworks including initial and ongoing clearing and topsoil stripping, construction of hardstands, roads and stockpiles, and rehandling stockpiled ore
- Production mining, including drilling, blasting, loading and haulage of ore to stockpiles and waste to existing and new waste dumps
- Loading the crusher
- Profiling of waste dump slopes for rehabilitation.
