VACATION PROGRAM

The NRW Vacation Program is a fantastic way for university students to gain practical experience in their field of study and prepare for graduate employment.

Over a period of 6-12 weeks during summer or during mid-year university breaks, our undergraduate students work on a project alongside NRW’s team of professionals who will share their knowledge and provide an insight to the operations of civil and mining work environments. Where operational requirements allow, there may be opportunity for casual work throughout the university semester.

Should you be successful, it is common for undergraduate students to join the NRW Graduate Program after completing their studies.

PREREQUISITES

To be eligible for NRW’s Vacation Program, applicants must:

• Be currently completing a degree in a relevant discipline and ideally be in their third or fourth year;
• Have the right to permanently work in Australia; and
• Be prepared to work Fly In Fly Out rosters, including shift work, where required.
