PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Roy Hill Mine Site Bulk Earthworks contract included the construction of earthworks, drainage and associated roadworks for the following facilities:
- Mine Process Plant (including Process Water Dam)
- Primary Crushers
- Overland Conveyors
- Go Lines
- Mine Services
The works were spread over an area of 250 hectares and included the excavation and filling of 1.8 million cubic metres of materials and the installation of 1.3 kilometres of drainage pipes.
The Project ran for a period of nine months commencing in June 2013 and at its peak had approximately 200 personnel mobilised to site.
