PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Fortescue Greenfields Rail Earthworks Section 2, Team 45 Project established NRW’s reputation with Fortescue Metals Group.
The project comprised 106 kilometres of Greenfields rail construction as part of Fortescue’s rail line from mine to port.
This project included 3.6 million cubic metres of total material moved, 2.4 million cubic metres of excavated rock, 2.9 kilometres of drainage culverts and the construction of a 1300 bed camp.
Two new 300 bed camps were also constructed along with improvements to existing villages.
