NRW is pleased to announce it has secured a $67 million contract to undertake various earthworks, piping and associated works together with drill and blast operations at the Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd (“Roy Hill”) project. Full works under this contract will not be activated until Roy Hill confirms satisfactory progress with its debt financing.Roy Hill is a major new Pilbara iron ore project that NRW is excited to be involved in. The Roy Hill Iron Ore Project will include a 55 million tonne per annum (mtpa) mine, 344 kilometre heavy-haul railway, and new berths at Port Hedland. Production from the mine is scheduled to begin in 2015.
