PROJECT DESCRIPTION

NRW completed a number of contracts whilst on site at Christmas Creek with good performance leading to numerous additional awards. These included the earthworks preparation for the Ore Processing Facility (OPF) with pads, stockyard, ROM backfill, tailings dam, access roads, office foundations, train load out and turkeys nest development.

The Nullagine Road contract consisted of the rehabilitation and realignment of 15 kilometres Main Roads WA road ready for seal.

An additional contract was the Flinders Drain Diversion for which 30,000 cubic metres of drill and blast allowed the box cutting of a new creek diversion around Flinders Pit. The final contract was the preparation of a 15 kilometre access road and pit establishment. These multiple awards highlight the continued good relationship between client and contractor.
