NRW SECURES ROY HILL CONCRETE PACKAGE

NRW Holdings Limited (ASX:NWH) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Samsung C & T Corporation for construction of the Package One Works at Roy Hill.

The proposed scope of works includes Concrete and detailed Earthworks for the Processing Plant, Stockyard, Overland Conveyors and Crushing areas.

Specific works to be undertaken include:

~53’000m³ of structural concrete, ~800’000m³ of backfill/excavations, ~15km of underground piping and 5km of Rail works for the Stackers and Reclaimers.

The works have a scheduled duration of twelve months with manning on site estimated to peak at 660 personnel. The contract has an approximate value of $200 million.

NRW’s Chief Executive Officer Jules Pemberton said, “we are very pleased to be awarded the concrete and detailed earthworks contract for Package One. This award further builds on the existing relationship with both Samsung and Roy Hill through current construction of the Package Two rail formation component and the bulk earthworks undertaken at the Roy Hill minesite.”
